Office and Client Reception (0.8 EFT) The Hotham Mission Asylum Seeker Project (ASP) is a UnitingCare agency that works with asylum seekers living in the community who do not have access to work, income or Medicare. These asylum seekers are on bridging visas and living lawfully in the community awaiting a decision on their refugee or humanitarian claim, yet are denied any government supports.
The Office and Client Reception Co-ordinator is a critical role for our agency. As our front of house person, you will be greeting clients as they arrive at the office, providing a safe and comfortable space for them to wait to see their caseworker. You will also be the 'hub' of the office as you take responsibility for team and agency administrative and financial tasks, providing essential support to staff and the Project Director.
We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team who can draw upon high level organisational skills. You will need to be able to juggle a task driven work plan with a compassionate reception of clients and visitors to our office.
We are looking for someone who has the;
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
- Ability to work with limited resources
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high pressure environment
- Ability to be proactive in generating strategic and creative ideas
- Ability to work with volunteers and delegate responsibility
- Willingness to understand and work with the various church and community groups with whom the Project is involved.
This position is aligned with the SACS Award Vic ($50,000 pro rata) which includes salary packaging, superannuation, five weeks annual leave.
